The term “Kontor” has been in use since the 16th century, originally meaning house or yard. In the 19th and 20th centuries it was often used by merchants to mean their offices or business premises. The term is still used today, mostly by traditional businesses based in the old Hanseatic towns and cities.
Located in Zurich, our Kontor is still a very young agency, although it is one steeped in traditional values. We bring many years of in-depth experience in the areas of corporate and brand communication, public relations, media work, content, corporate publishing and events at national and international level. Even though Zurich cannot be compared to an old Hanseatic town, we never cease to be inspired and creatively influenced by the tranquillity, but also the vibrant urbanity, of this fascinating “Little Big City” on the shores of beautiful Lake Zurich.
As a small agency, we work with committed, dependable partners from a wide variety of special disciplines as required: creative, online and social media specialists, event partners, photographers and print shops. We handle all aspects of quality management and implementation.

Proven track record in corporate and brand communication, CSR, philanthropy and sponsoring and events in an international environment in the luxury goods and branded products industry, as well as industrial and trade fairs.
Many years’ managerial experience as Head of Division at global level and a member of the Group management of internationally operating Oettinger Davidoff AG at the head office in Basel.
Core competences in corporate and crisis communication plus issue management in a market environment in which the regulatory requirements are demanding and constantly changing, and in the areas of restructuring (mergers, spin-offs etc.), corporate responsibility (production facilities in emerging countries), philanthropy (launch of an internationally acknowledged art initiative), pleasure and lifestyle.
